Dear Valued Clients, Colleagues and Friends of Emens Wolper Jacobs & Jasin Law Firm,

We have been actively monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and we want to update you about what steps Emens Wolper Jacobs & Jasin (“EWJJ”) is taking to ensure the health and safety of our employees, our families, and our clients while ensuring that the level of service we provide to our clients remains best-in-class.

Whenever possible, and for the foreseeable future, EWJJ will be significantly limiting face-to-face meetings. Most of our communications with clients can be done by phone or by video conference. When an in-person meeting is necessary, please know our Columbus office is located in a large shared office building, and our St. Clairsville office is a smaller office building with a shared entrance. If these options make you uncomfortable, we are happy to discuss alternative options with you.

For any in person meetings, you will be asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing, to the extent possible. You may also be asked to sign a document attesting that you or no one you have been around is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or has tested positive for COVID-19. We appreciate your understanding.

Additionally, in our ongoing commitment to your safety, all employees of EWJJ will also wear a mask and certify the above prior to any meetings. All meeting rooms and supplies will be sanitized in between meetings. Your safety is of the utmost importance to us.

Effective immediately all of our attorneys, paralegals and administrators have the availability to work remotely, when necessary. Voicemail and email will be checked continuously if we are working off-site. EWJJ has always been strongly committed to meeting the needs of our clients, and remain so.

While we have the infrastructure in place to do this (call forwarding, remote workplaces, etc.), it has never been tested at this capacity. Should you have trouble reaching us, please know we are still ready and available to assist you. By calling our office phone, your call can be forwarded to an individual’s cell phone.

We know your families and workplaces are also navigating the complex issues associated with this pandemic. We want to assure you that EWJJ is here to support you during this difficult time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Be well,

Beatrice Wolper
